GES Lifting Operations Planning & Supervision Projects with Halliburton
In July 2022, GES has successfully won a service contract to carry out all the lifting operations planning & supervision for two (2) drilling rigs owned by Halliburton Company.
GES’s scope of work in this project is to:
1- Create and update lifting plans on the work site according to international standards as well as client specifications.
2- Coordinate and supervise all lifting activities in accordance with the lifting plans.
3- Brief all lifting team members including but not limited to crane operators, riggers, and signalmen, on the lifting plan, risk control measures, and safe lifting procedures before commencement of any lifting operations.
4- Ensure that only registered crane operators, appointed riggers, and appointed signalmen participate in any lifting operations.
5- Ensure that the ground conditions are safe for any lifting operation to be performed by the mobile crane.
6- Be present during all lifting operations.
7- Take suitable measures towards unsafe conditions when reported to rectify the conditions so that the lifting operation can be conducted safely.
8- Ensure that all the lifting gears used in the lifting operation are safe to use and have a valid inspection certificate.
